In Q2 2024, the iOS virtual fitness landscape demonstrated diverse trends across top applications in the US market. Here's a snapshot of how five prominent apps fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced an uptick in revenue, peaking at $66K in early May before leveling to around $32K by late June. Downloads remained steady, averaging around 4.5K per week, while weekly active users saw a high of 118K in late April and a slight dip to 112K by the end of June.

Basic-Fit, despite not generating revenue, maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at 4.4K in late April and dipping to 3.1K in mid-June. Weekly active users hit a high of 153K in the third week of May, followed by a small decline to 147K by the quarter's end.

komoot - hike, bike & run saw fluctuating revenue, with a notable drop to $8K in late April, then a recovery to almost $12K by the quarter's close. Downloads varied, with a peak at 4.2K in early May and a low at 2.5K in late May. Active users fluctuated slightly, reaching 28K in early May and settling at 27K by late June.

JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit showed a revenue trend with a high of $6.6K in the first week of April, dropping to approximately $3.5K by late May, and then rising to $4.4K by the end of June. Downloads peaked at 3.4K in mid-April, with a gradual decrease to just under 2K in early June. Active users rose from 8K to 9.3K throughout the quarter.

Finally, Garmin Connect™ showed no revenue but had a steady increase in downloads from 1.3K to 1.7K between April and June. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 100K throughout the quarter.
